As you may see by the title of this blog, that this is week 6 of Learning 2.0. This time around, I have been asked to blog about my discoveries in both YouTube and Google video and think of ways/possible uses they can have in my library.
For starters, video could always be used to document events and the like in libraries. This implementation is relatively new, but is building all the time. With that said, it's good to know to libraries can upload their events, author talks, displays - literally whatever they want onto a video server such as YouTube or Google video.
They, a library, could also promote, at the same time, everything else uploaded onto a video server for anybody to see. It heightens the awareness people have with libraries as well as promoting the libraries functions and events.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I agree, there are lots of opportunities for us in this area, especially in areas such as local history.
Hope you get to continue on with the Learning 2.0 program. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
Leanne
